companyA.com runs exchange 2010 sp2. CompanyA just aquired CompanyB.com who runs exchange 2010 sp2 as well. CompanyB.com does not want their mail migrated to CompanyA exchange org but wants to start using companyA.com as their send/receive aliases. FOPE currently sends all external mail for companyA.com to the companyA internal exchange servers.
Is this even possible? I'm thinking of telling CompanyB that we will just build a new CompanyA exchange server at their site so they can keep their mail locally and do a migration from their existing exchange server to the new one onsite. Seems easier and cleaner.
