EMC 2010 initialization error: Kerberos authentication failed & requested HTTP URL not available. Resolution not found yet.

I am receiving the following error when trying to initialize Exchange Management Console for Exchange Server 2010:

"The following error occured while attempting to connect ot the specficied Exhange server 'xxxx.xxx.lan':

The attempt to connect to /PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: The WinRM client sent a request to an HTTP server and got a response saying the requested HTTP URL was not available.  This is usually returned by a HTTP server that does not support the WS-Management protocol.  For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic."

I have tried adjusting authentication and SSL settings on the Default Web Site in IIS 7, I also added a "Connect as" account with full permissions to all of the Exchange virtual directories (and tested the connections), and verified the PowerShell virtual directory settings based on other threads that I have read.  Each change I make result in a different error when I try to access the EMC.

The only change that has been made to this server recently was the addition to Share Point Server 2010 a little over a week ago.  Since that time the EMC will not intialize, email is still accessible and the Share Point web site will open.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
